Kevin – Sunday. We were all so bushed from the events of Saturday that we decided to sleep in and attend a church service starting at 11:30 AM instead of our customary 9 AM meetings.
After meetings we did journals, called some kids, cooked a fine meal and had a generally slow day. The pioneer groups generally treated Sunday similarly if they could. A day of rest is a good thing for everyone – mules, oxen and cattle included.
It is worth mentioning here that Mark Woodbury is a person with practical abilities galore whereas Yours Truly is book smart (kind of) but practically dumb. One thing that Denny was especially happy about this RV was that it has a central vacuum. No joke. Long hose, nozzle attachments and the works. It works just fine.
One problem though; we never could find out how to dump the accumulated debris. No instructions provided with the unit. No obvious exit under the RV. Nothing we could figure out during the past 8 weeks.
Mark walks up to the front panel, sticks his finger into a recessed spot, slides it sideways and the entire front panel pops off – with a dust bag attached. And a spare beside it. Humpfff.
